Ascension Day Service
Thursday 17th May 7.30pm at St. Nicholas Church, Montgomery.
Ascension - after Jesus rose from the dead, on what the church now celebrate as Easter morning, he spent 40 days meeting with and teaching his followers. He then left them, returning to His rightful place in the heavenly dimension. The festival of the Ascension is always celebrated on a Thursday, the date varying according to when Easter falls. This year the Ascension is celebrated on Thursday 17th May and we mark it with a service of Holy Eucharist at St.Nicholas Church, Montgomery.
