Mr WF Hann
Sometime last year Mr WF (Fred Hann) decided to hang up his collection plate and come off the sidespersons rota - after more than forty years service. The PCC decided to have a personal collection and gave him a little tribute to use on the steamers (one of Fred's great passions) in 2013. We also managed to get a certificate of appreciation from Bishop Dominic. These things were duly presented to Fred at the 8.30 services and he was so overcome that he couldn't believe it was him that was being called out. He later told me that he didn't feel right for the rest of the day!
