Parish Name

If the automatic adding of information has worked properly, then your Parish/Benefice/Rectorial Benefice name should have been added to the next box.

We ask you not to alter the Parish or Benefice or Rectorical Benefice name when it is set like this. This means that your website will have the same name that we hold on our central records and we can easily link to your website.

There is one exception to this which is that there are a small number – less than 20 in the whole of the Church in Wales – of Parishes/Benefices with official names longer than 100 characters. If you are one of these, then we ask you simply to abbreviate your name in a way that you are happy with.
