The Church in Wales - Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru

Daw’r wybodaeth a roddir ar y tudalennau hyn o gronfeydd data a ddefnyddir ac a weinyddir gan Swyddfeydd y Dalaith. Oherwydd rhesymau technegol a chyfyngiadau ar adnoddau, cedwir y cronfeydd hyn yn Saesneg yn unig. Yn Saesneg, felly, y mae’r wybodaeth a roddir yma. Os oes gennych unrhyw ymholiadau ynglŷn â hyn, neu os hoffech i’r manylion gael eu hanfon atoch yn Gymraeg, cysylltwch â’r gwe-feistr.

Parishes

The Church in Wales is made up of over 900 parishes. If you live in Wales, you will live in a parish. Each parish covers a specific geographic area and is looked after by a cleric assigned to it. Parishes (which form part of a benefice) possess one or more churches, these churches usually known by their dedication (eg St Mary or St Paul or Christ Church). For each parish we show

  • the name
  • parish number
  • the incumbent and any other clergy in the benefice
  • the benefice it is a part of
  • the dedication of the open churches.
